Here at Hafa Adai VFW Post 1509, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part to help our island's Veterans and their families. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting those that have assisted us all. We provide many support programs and local scholarship opportunities to our Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Military Members as well as their family.
GEORGE S. PATTON
"THE SOLDIER IS THE ARMY. NO ARMY IS BETTER THAN ITS SOLDIERS. THE SOLDIER IS ALSO A CITIZEN. IN FACT, THE HIGHEST OBLIGATION AND PRIVILEGE OF CITIZENSHIP IS THAT OF BEARING ARMS FOR ONE’S COUNTRY."
At Hafa Adai VFW Post 1509, we are dedicated to helping our Veterans and their families achieve the education goals they are after. Education is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. Click to learn more about our scholarship opportunities.
VETERANS & MILITARY SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Veterans & Military Support is part of the VFW’s never-ending obligation to assist members of the active-duty military, National Guard and Reserves, as well as their families. These programs were established to keep the Veterans of Foreign Wars in the forefront of patriotism as the organization and its members find innovative way to show support for America and her armed forces.
The VFW is is on of the most respected voices in Washington D.C. and within local governments across America. We advocate for justice for our nation's veterans, service members and military families on an array of issues and continue to be the voice for veterans everywhere. We regularly testify before Congress, meet with elected officials and rally our national supporters to ensure our lawmakers put veterans first.
